Postpartum Nurturing

THE ART OF NURTURING NEW MOTHERS

So many of us in these modern times have been indoctrinated to believe that shear will-power and self-sufficiency will get us through the early days post birth.

What most of us haven't been normalized with is a village of support that rises to meet us in the magnitude of all that this transition asks of us; that we weren't meant to face it alone. It truly takes a village. The postpartum experience is a time of natural uncertainty and vulnerability. Its a time when physically, a new mother's bio-chemistry is transforming, and her body is healing + expanding in an entirely new way. We are indeed capable of traversing this ocean, and having the right village of support makes it possible to gain resilience and steady footing at the threshold of motherhood.

Payment Structure

I happily accept Pacific Source Oregon Health Plan for local families!

Postpartum Nurturing services are $50 per hour, plus a $100 intake deposit when initiating services before birth. For those paying with OHP, I would submit a request form to your insurance to initiate services.

I typically like to work in retainers of 15 hour intervals. We'll schedule multiple 2-5 hour visits over the course of your postpartum. Once we near or complete the 15 hours we will re-asses, either scheduling another 15 or completing our arrangement. Currently, Pacific Source OHP will cover up to 30 hours of postpartum support.

Please reach out to me to discuss possible options if finances are a barrier to receiving services or if you would like to discuss a plan that is more personalized for your needs.

How it Works

Reach out to me set up a time to have a phone call to connect about these services and get to know each other

If we decide we want to work together, a $100 deposit is due (or insurance billed) to cover our intake meeting and to secure your spot on my calendar

We'll then schedule a 1-2 hour long intake "date" where I come to your home and we dive deep into mapping your postpartum care plan - needs, schedule, visions, fears (optional)

$750 retainer fee is due (or permission given for me to bill insurance) by 36 weeks - this covers 15 hours of postpartum care and secures your spot in my calendar

You let me know when you're in labor, I'll stand by ready to support you in alignment with our co-created postpartum care plan

Once we near or complete our 15 hour container we will reassess, either scheduling/billing for another 15 or completing our arrangement

Not fitting in this box? No problem, I am always open to having real time dialogue to discover what your unique needs are and how best to meet them
